Doing Nothing is Highly Productive March 23, 2010 |
It will take you about 32 seconds to read this email. Here is your time creation tip for this week.
Time Management Tip - Doing Nothing is Highly Productive.
Your in-box has 100s of emails, you have a pile of messages and your "to-do" list seems miles long. You feel overwhelmed and just can't seem to find the time to fit everything in.
That's the world most business people find themselves today.
The solution is to do nothing!
When I suggest this to my clients I see the look on their face that says "are you crazy". The people that open their minds to this tip find their lives are very different (some even feel guilty for working less!)
The key is to stop reacting to everything and do nothing. Set aside all the emails and interruptions. Now decide which task will have the biggest impact to achieving your objectives and do it.
Yes, it is much easier said than done. My Time Management System will guide you on how to do this.
The BENEFIT of doing nothing initially is that you get really clear about your high impact tasks. These task accelerate you to achieve your goals. And you avoid the interruptions that actually take you further away from your goals.
This week's Gift.
Have the time of your life this week.
